We encourage you to exhibit caution when sharing any personal information with others in the Community.]

Public Information.  There may be areas of our Sites (e.g., reviews, comments, blogs and online forums) in which you are able to post information, including Personal Information, that will be available to all other users of our Sites.  By choosing to use these areas, you understand and agree that anyone may access, use, and disclose any information that you post to those areas. [In the Girl Up Community, this includes the Chat, Event Calendar and Status Updates.]

Links
The Sites may contain links to other websites (such as social networking services).  Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites.  We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our Sites to read the privacy statements of each and every website or mobile application that collects Personal Information.  This Privacy Policy does not apply to Personal Information collected by other websites.

Children’s Privacy
The UN Foundation encourages parents and guardians to take an active role in their children’s online activities and interests, and to be careful and sensible about the privacy of minors when sharing Personal Information through the Sites.  The Sites are not intended for use by children under the age of 13. [The issues presented and discussed within the Girl Up Community are appropriate for students 12 and up.]
