December 2017 Update: Can you believe it's almost the end of 2017?! Whether you're celebrating December holidays or getting ready to celebrate the new year, check out our updated SchoolCycle Challenge Toolkit for fundraising ideas to end the year on a high note and achieve your fundraising goals!

Ready to make a direct impact in the lives of 1,000 girls in Malawi and immediately help increase their access to education? Grab your club members, friends, and family and get going with fundraising for SchoolCycle! Launched in 2014, SchoolCycle is an initiative of Girl Up in partnership with UNFPA to provide bicycles to adolescent girls so they go to school safely. One of the biggest obstacles keeping girls out of school is distance - some walk as far as 10 km (that's over 6 miles!) to and from school each day. You can help change this! Just $125 helps provide a bike, spare parts and maintenance training to a girl to help her stay in school, so she can get the education she needs to create a better future for herself, her family and her community. Girl Up has a goal to raise $125,000 - that's 1,000 bikes - for girls in Malawi by the end of December 2017, and we can only reach that big goal with your support!

We're challenging everyone who participates to raise funds for five bikes - whether that's your club goal or personal goal. In the files section, you can download the SchoolCycle toolkit. There, you'll find all the fundraising ideas and tips you'll need to get started. Want to h
