Our Bill Is A Law!

Can you believe our bill (H.R. 2408/S.1580) "Protecting Girls' Access to Education in Vulnerable Settings Act" is now a law?! Your hard work of advocating for this bill over the last three years has finally paid off. The bill was signed into law last night by President Trump.

This bill was introduced by Congressman Chabot and Congresswoman Kelly in the House and in the Senate by Senator Rubio and Senator Menendez. The bill authorizes the Secretary of State and United States Agency for International Development to prioritize efforts to support access to quality primary and secondary education for displaced children, especially girls, by working with multilateral, private, and civil society organizations.

Don't forget to thank your members of Congress with an email, phone, call, tweet, etc. For more creative ideas on how to say thank you head over to the 'Advocate' page and look under resources.
